Back in Action
After a long absence online and on air, I’m back. These last few weeks, with school ramping up, the Antique Show, and a huge work load, I’ve just been too busy for the simple pleasures of my blog and my radio show.
But, I’m back. In today’s episode of ::transit:, I talked with several organizers of the Maroon Bike Project. Lucas Naveira, a graduate physics student, Mitch Drennan, a senior biology student, and show regular Annie Behrman came to the KAMN studio to discuss their plans for bringing a project similar to Austin’s Yellow Bike Project to Texas A&M and College Station.
I must say, it’s a really interesting concept. Before my Haro H3 was stolen, I was an avid bike rider. I would be still, but I just can’t bring myself to spend $75 on a bike from Wal-Mart that I know will fall apart in six months. I’m saving up for another Haro, though.
I’ll be posting the episode online soon, but for now, you can go to KANM’s wesbite and find Transit in the download section.
